It's been an absolute success!! It's better than when I first got the computer. I called a friend of mine who designs complicated systems for railroad train brakes and told him about my (our) success. hanks for the education on the empty registry keys...I de-selected them and it got everything repaired with one scan. Overall, my laptop is much better behaved now and does run faster, so I am very happy. An added bonus, my "system restore" had stopped working. I turned it on and off several times to no avail. After running registryeasy, system restore is back alive! Thanks for the quick response.
